Dartmoor

Dartmoor

Dartmoor is not classed as Mountain Country, although it does have two mountains; Yes Tor and High Willhays. The route given below takes in both of these and covers the five 600s. A route of this sort will qualify as a QMD but having done it there seems little or no scope for further QMD bagging on Dartmoor (BUT have a read of QMDs without summitting. There is probably scope for one or two more QMDs approach Yes Tor and High Willhays from the east and the south west and making use of the extensive rough ground and other tops). Bear in mind also thought that you are not going to get four or five QMDs out of Dartmoor, only one, possibly two at a pinch.
